Safety first….

IMG_1922

It is a rule to wear a (PT) reflective belt during hours of darkness. So our crewmembers had a great idea of connecting a bunch of belts together and install it on the aircraft.  PT BELT REQUIRED WITHIN 5 NM OF AIRFIELD.

CUSTOM MADE TRAY.

afghan 152

The tray was made for our maintenance pilot who is apparently always complaining that there isn’t enough room for all his food.

SATELLITE ROW.

afghan 137

Satellite row where our beloved Satellite internet is kept, plus it helps me find my building!

Kyle holding our quote book.

afghan 151

The guys we replaced had a great idea of creating a quote book.  It was a clever idea, It captures some of the funniest moments we have. They took their book with them so we had to create our own.  Kyle is resposible for the design, He even drew the shadow patch on the book, The shadow patch signifies the unit patch we use to wear, but are no longer aloud. MORALE STOPS HERE.

Just a snapshot of some of the B Huts.

This sign is awesome!

This was in our “B” Hut when we first got here. We put it outside to give our building some character, but someone has since stolen it. They say that in the Army, there is only one thief and everyone else is just getting their stuff back!
